KLEX Results Are Released

The results of the KLEX (Korean Language Evaluation Examination) have officially been released following the successful completion of the examination at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
More than 250 candidates participated in the examination, demonstrating the growing interest among Sri Lankan students in Korean language proficiency and preparation for academic opportunities in South Korea.
KLEX is designed as a professional Korean language examination simulation that closely reflects the environment and structure of the official TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) examination. It provides candidates with realistic examination conditions, structured evaluation, professional supervision, and an opportunity to assess their readiness before sitting for the official TOPIK examination.
The examination follows two levels: KLEX I, equivalent in structure to TOPIK I, covering Listening and Reading, and KLEX II, equivalent to TOPIK II, covering Listening, Writing, and Reading.
Several Sri Lankan schools were also invited to participate, giving students an opportunity to experience a structured Korean language examination environment, understand the standards expected at this level, identify areas for improvement, and prepare more effectively for future examinations.

KLEX was organized by Randyll Overseas (Pvt) Ltd as a non-profit educational initiative, with the objective of providing Korean language learners in Sri Lanka with greater access to realistic examination experience.
The examination was conducted with the support of experienced government-school Korean language teachers and Korean language graduates who served as invigilators, helping maintain professional examination standards. The examination papers were specially prepared by a dedicated panel based in the Republic of Korea.
Randyll Overseas extends its appreciation to the educators, participating schools, students, academic contributors, and everyone who supported the successful conduct of KLEX. The initiative aims to help participants learn from this experience, strengthen their preparation, and achieve even better performance in future examinations.
